THE ALLEY CATS
From Los Angeles. Led by Dianne Chai (vocals/bass) and Randy Stodola (guitar) with John McCarthy (drums). The group was an important band in the early L.A. punk scene who had an influential single in "Nothing Means Nothing Anymore". Remaining on the periphery of acceptance, they changed their sound to something a bit more commercial when they became The Zarkons. 1978-82.
