WILLIE "LOCO" ALEXANDER

 

 

From Boston, Massachusetts.  The local patriarch of alternative rock and a one time member of the post-Lou Reed version of The Velvet Underground.  Alexander began his career in the heyday of rock and actually had a few singles on the Capitol label with his band The Lost in the mid-60's.  With his "Boom Boom" Band, he is known mostly for the 1975 hit "Kerouac".  A poet and recording artist since 1965, Alexander's legacy is legend in the Boston music scene.  1965-present.
