THE AIRBORNE TOXIC EVENT
From Los Angeles. Led by Mikel Jollett (vocals/guitar) with Steven Chen (guitar/keyboards), Noah Harmon (bass), Daren Taylor (drums) and Anna Bulbrook (strings/keyboards/percussion). Sounding very unlike a modern American band, the group scored their first hit with a soaring new wave inspired theme called "Soemtime Around Midnite". The band named was inspired by the book "White Noise" by Don DeLillo. Jollett is also a published fiction writer which truly shows in the narrative style of his lyrics. 2007-present.
