AGENTS OF GOOD ROOTS
From Richmond, Virginia. Led by Andrew Winn (vocals/guitar/keyboards) with Stewart Meyers (bass), J.C. Kuhl (saxophone) and Brian Jones (drums). Winn was a victim of a skiing accident at age 14 which crushed his larynx and now provides the unusual quality of his vocals. Mining the Virginia audience associated with Dave Matthews, this jam band have a dedicated regional following. Winn has also released an album of classical guitar compositions. Beginning in 2002, the band have gone on a Phish-like indefinite hiatus. 1995-2001.
