A-HA

From Manglerud, Oslo, Norway. Led by Morten Harket (vocals) with Magne Furuholmen (keyboards) and Paal Waaktaar-Savoy (guitar). A pop act who hit it big via their innovative video for the song "Take On Me" which combined live action and animation. Without that exposure it is likely that this average pop band would not have been heard of outside their native Europe. The band lost momentum between 1993 and 1998, "returning" after a surge of new interest in new wave across the world. 1985-present.
